In the remote east of Crete, far from any industrial facilities, busy bees collect nectar from untouched wild herbs that grow on mountain slopes at an altitude of around 1000 m. Oregano, thyme, sage and savory dot the lonely landscape and produce a highly aromatic honey with an intense taste of Cretan wild herbs.
