Collection: Black Tea Nepal

Tea has been grown in Nepal since 1863. Most tea gardens are run as cooperatives. The good to very good quality teas are produced largely without the use of pesticides or other chemical aids. Nepal teas are delicately mild with a floral scent and can be compared to good Darjeeling teas. Only a few teas have made it to us from the roof of the world so far. Delivery times are sometimes long, the selection changes and not all varieties are always available.

However, specialties are increasingly being produced that have their own character. We were particularly impressed by the fine, exclusive Jun Chiyabari tea garden. The success story began in 2000 when three tea lovers founded this 75-hectare plantation in eastern Nepal to produce semi-fermented top-quality teas in close cooperation with several small farmers. Green teas will also be included.

It is worth visiting this page more often, as we always receive new offers that are described here and, of course, also available from us.
