Greek mountain tea

Slightly fruity, tart and earthy, spicy. Rich in essential oils, the flowers, stems and leaves all smell of fresh herbs with a light lemon note when poured over the tea.

There are around 150 different types of mountain or alpine tea (family name here Sideretis) worldwide, most of which are found in the Mediterranean region. The majority of these mint plants grow wild, but a few varieties are also cultivated.

Enjoy this original tea hot or cold, sweetened with a little sugar or honey if desired.
